National Climate Marches - Saturday December 6th, 2008
Thousands will gather to march through London and Glasgow on Saturday 6th of December, coinciding with the pivotal UN international climate talks in Poland. Forming part of a global day of action, the marches will be among many happening in major cities throughout the world, calling on world leaders take the urgent and resolute action needed to prevent runaway climate change.
Glasgow:
Assembling 12:30 at the Amphitheatre, Clyde Street with a Rally at Glasgow Caledonian University at 2:00pm. A march with a clear message for the government and international community: Act of Climate Change - Just Solutions Now.

London:
Assembling 12:00 midday at Speaker’s Corner in Hyde Park , this year’s March will culminate with a rally in Parliament Square, demanding that the government acts now on climate change. Speakers will include Nick Clegg (leader Liberal Democrat Party), Caroline Lucas (leader, Green party), Michael Meacher (ex-environment minister) and George Monbiot (Honorary President, Campaign against Climate Change).
