Common Cause handbook launched

As part of the Common Cause initiative, of which COIN is a member, the Public Interest Research Centre (PIRC) have now published a handbook.  This is a more practical and user-friendly version of the Common Cause paper, to be used as a guide to values and frames for campaigners, community organisers, civil servants, fundraisers, educators, social entrepreneurs, activists, funders, politicians and everyone in between.

This is a great resource for all those working to bring lasting changes in the world, including climate change campaigners.  The handbook clearly and concisely guides the reader through the issues of why values matter, how values work and how they change.  It explains about using frames as an important tool for communicating,  as well as laying out guiding principles, giving lots of examples and exercises to work through.
