Refugee and Migrant Climate Change Forum

Monday 19 October 2009, 2:00pm - 5:00pm in London

COIN is holding a Forum on climate change for refugees and migrants on Monday 19th October in partnership with Migrants Rights Network, Praxis, Refugee Action, Refugee Council, Latitude Care Network and Doctors of the World.  The forum will be the first of its kind and will provide a space for refugees and migrants in the UK to come together to talk about climate change. The event will include presentations by expert scientists, Q&A and discussion workshops aimed at exploring the issues.

  •  Listen to what the scientists have to say about the current impacts of climate change in the south and the implications for migration;
  • Participate in workshops about the effects of climate change on your country;
  • Join together to decide what collective action you can take!
All welcome.  Refreshments provided.  Travel expenses reimbursed.
